About the Artist
A Brief History
Over the last three decades, Margaret has worked as an art teacher, artist, freelance writer and photographer, and raised a family. Having spent most of her adult life living and working in Asia, much of her art during this time celebrated the colour and diversity of the people there and their vibrant and often rustic environments. For the last few decades she has been a student of Eastern wisdom traditions and this finds natural expression in her work.
She is also a member of several juried international art organisations – Artists for Conservation and the International Guild of Realism - and some home-grown ones such as the Queensland Wildlife Society Inc.
She was a featured artist in International Artist magazine, and her artwork has been included in various Nature magazines, posters and film. She has been represented by the Pikture Gallery in Bangkok and the Opera Gallery in Singapore.
